This Paleo AIP Brunch Menu is perfect for Mother’s Day, a birthday, or a special gal’s day!

Sometimes we need a “treat yourself” day, even when we are on an anti-inflammatory elimination diet like the Autoimmune Protocol. Fancy cakes, small bites, quiche, scones, sweet salads, and non-alcoholic cocktails come to mind when I think of “brunch.”

The AIP is about keeping sugar intake low, so indulging a bit is not an issue when the next day you could incorporate more meats, bone broth, and green veggies than usual. A healthy lifestyle is all about balance. This “balance” to me means an occasional fancy splurge day with loved ones – and this is possible even on the AIP!
