This recipe is one I like to make when I have to travel. It is quick and easy to make, a good source of protein, and travels well, provided you can keep them in a cooler. They also freeze well and make a great appetizer or snack. You could use ground turkey instead of ground chicken if you prefer.

Chicken Meatballs
Oven cooked ground chicken meatballs flavoured with garlic, sage, and green onion.
Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 25 minutes
Total Time 30 minutes
Servings 4 servings
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 3 whole green onions sliced
- 1 tsp sage
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Sliced the onions finely and mince the garlic. Add all ingredients to a bowl.

Mix ingredients together with your hands. Shape into meatballs. Makes about 10-12 meatballs. Place meatballs on lined baking sheet.

Bake for 20-25 minutes in the oven. Let rest for 5 minutes. Store in a glass container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
